SPANISH is a very worthwhile foreign language to learn. It is widely spoken and, as foreign languages go, arguably the easiest one to get to grips with. Here we have compiled a list of common Spanish words to learn.
Spanish words
This list of Spanish words are all nouns. That is, they are words that represent a person, place or thing, or idea. In Spanish, nouns are either masculine or feminine and therefore take a masculine or feminine article. There isn’t much rhyme or reason to whether a noun is masculine or feminine, so you just have to learn them. Also, there are four definite articles, all of which mean ‘the’! They are el, la, los and las. There are three indefinite articles – un, una, unos – which translate into ‘a’, ‘an’ or ’some’.
